Community Guidelines

Last updated: February 13, 2026

These Community Guidelines explain what is and is not allowed when using Snapd features that involve shared content, shared calendars, event links, and QR-based sharing. These rules are designed to keep the platform safe and respectful for everyone.

1. Scope

These Guidelines apply to all user-generated content and behavior in Snapd, including event titles, descriptions, notes, shared calendars, profile interactions, referral activity, and any content distributed through links or QR codes.

2. What Is Not Allowed

You must not use Snapd to create, share, or promote:

  • Harassment, bullying, stalking, intimidation, or threats of violence
  • Hate speech or content targeting protected characteristics
  • Sexually explicit content or sexual exploitation
  • Illegal activity, instructions for harm, or dangerous content
  • Spam, scams, phishing, fraud, or deceptive promotional content
  • Impersonation, identity deception, or unauthorized account access attempts
  • Malicious links, malware, or any attempt to disrupt systems or users
  • Sharing personal data of others without consent (doxxing)

3. Reporting Abuse

If you encounter abusive or objectionable content, report it immediately using in-app reporting tools where available, or email us directly at:

abuse@snap-d.app

Include as much detail as possible to help us investigate quickly:

  • What happened and why you believe it violates these Guidelines
  • Relevant user name or identifier (if known)
  • Event title, calendar name, share link, or QR code reference
  • Screenshots or other evidence
  • Date/time the incident occurred

We aim to review abuse reports within 24 hours, but complex or high-volume cases may take longer.

4. Enforcement

If we find violations, we may take one or more actions:

  • Remove or restrict offending content
  • Issue warnings
  • Temporarily limit account features
  • Suspend or permanently terminate accounts
  • Report serious illegal activity to relevant authorities where required

We may prioritize urgent safety risks and take immediate action without prior warning.

5. Appeals

If you believe enforcement action on your account was incorrect, contact us at abuse@snap-d.app with relevant details. We will review appeals in good faith.

6. Emergency Situations

Snapd is not an emergency service. If there is an immediate threat to safety, contact local emergency services right away before submitting a report to us.

7. Changes to These Guidelines

We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised Guidelines.
